My professional background spans roles in production support within large manufacturing sites. I've also worked on secondments in areas like environmental and process safety engineering.

Advice to women wanting to pursue a career in STEM

I recommend trying to get work experience while you are studying, whether it's through summer or a year-long placement. This looks great on your resume but also allows you to explore various roles and fields that you might like to work in after you graduate.
